Covid-19 Plan
In general:
*We will perform temperature checks upon arrival.*Everyone will be instructed to wash their hands when they arrive and before they leave.
*There will be no open gyms or parties.
Classes:
*Class ratios will be lowered to a max of 6 students per instructor. This will allow us to maintain safe distances between the students as well as ensure a very high level of attention to each gymnast.
*Students will be instructed to wash their hands between events. Luckily, we have a sink in the gym!
*Class will be scheduled 15 minutes apart to reduce congestion between them.
Parents:
*First and foremost, do not bring your child to class if they are sick.
*We ask that only one parent accompany their child into the gym. If possible, it would be best if parents refrained from entering the building during the initial phase of the reopening.
*Please consider dropping your child off for class. We will space out the tables and chairs in the parent viewing room to meet social distancing guidelines. As a result, there will not be enough room for more than a few parents in there at one time.
*When weather is permitting (not too hot or raining), we will place some tables and chairs outside, behind the building for viewing through the large garage doors.
*Please send a water bottle with your child to class, so that they are not all using the drinking fountain. Note: our drinking fountain has the touchless bottle filler option.
