Scott Belanger
Gymnastics and Music Enthusiast
Scott is the owner of Jayhawk Gymnastics and is a lifelong gymnast with over 30 years in the gymnastics business. Former collegiate gymnast at Southern Illinois University (Go Dawgs), founder of Extreme Kids in Marion, IL and Saluki Gymnastics in Carbondale, IL, and The Zone in Mt. Vernon, IL. Scott now brings his experience, imagination and passion to Lawrence. "My focus is to have a super friendly, fun and safe gymnastics facility for kids in the greater Lawrence area. If you want your child to learn in a fun, safe and challenging atmosphere, you've come to the right place!"

Savanah Reeves
Gymnastics and Girls Team Instructor
Hi! My name is Savanah Reeves and I am majoring in Sport's Broadcasting at KU. I've been a part of the gymnastics world since I was 7yrs. old. I fell in love with the sport an everything it has to offer. I competed in Tumbling and Trampoline until graduating high school in 2022. I love to inspire and work with young gymnasts because my coaches have made such an impact on my life. I can't wait to meet your aspiring gymnasts!
Jerynn Lindbloom
Gymnastics Instructor
Coach Jerynn has been with Jayhawk Gymnastics since day 1. She's played a key role in our success.
Jerynn is currently in a Masters program, studying to be a clinical psychologist.
Sydney Fisher
Gymnastics and Girls Team Instructor
Hi all! My name is Sydney fisher and I'm from Dallas, Texas. I am currently a junior at KU, studying Molecular and Cellular Biology, hoping to go to graduate school and get my PhD in Neuroscience. I competed in USA Gymnastics for 10yrs. I trained JO level 8 skills when I decided to begin coaching. I coach our preschool classes all the way through our Xcel Gold Girl's Competitive Team. I absolutely love coaching as it allows me to continue my passion for the sport in a new light while getting to train up the next generation of gymnasts!
Morgan Issitt
Gymnastics & Ninja Instructor
Coach Morgan has lived all over the work, with her dad being in the Marines. She has family in Topeka and can call Kansas home. She's studying business at KU.
Nathan Del Real
Head Ninja Instructor
Hi, I'm coach Nathan. I grew up playing sports like soccer, basketball and MMA. I love sports and fitness and have a ca passion for coaching. I'm studying at KU and hope to work as a PE Teacher / Coach. I'm also a Sergeant in the Kansas Army National Guard where I practice other types of Ninja skills for America!
Tyler Campbell
Ninja Instructor
Coach Tyler is a Doctor of Chiropractic and runs his office here in his hometown of Lawrence. He grew up climbing trees and playing ninjas with his friends. He has run in multiple obstacle course races, which test strength, endurance, balance and agility. Your kids will be in caring hands with him as their coach.
Rodney Villalba
Martial Arts Instructor
Master Rodney is a 6th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is visiting Lawrence through June of this year from Paraguay.

Hey there, I'm coach Shea! I did gymnastics for 12 years back home in Washington ans was team captain during high school for 3yrs! I currently am a student at KU and love helping children find their love and passion in the world of gymnastics!

Hi, I'm Lindsey. I'm a junior in high school and grew up doing competitive cheer and dance. I love helping kids grow and see their full potential. It is truly motivating, getting to know each kid individually and seeing them succeed!
